Conrad Murray, Doctor to Michael Jackson was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter, in a case that resembled the good old OJ trial of the 1990’s.
According to TMZ:
Dr. Conrad Murray has been found GUILTY of involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson. After the verdict was read, you can hear La Toya Jackson and Kathy Hilton cry. Jurors came back with the verdict moments ago after a grueling 6-week trial, finding prosecutors proved beyond a reasonable doubt … Dr. Murray is responsible for MJ’s death.
Murray faces up to 4 years behind bars, but the reality is … he will not go to state prison because of a new law, and will likely serve his time in L.A. County Jail.
Thank God. If I had to hear one more update about Murray’s love life, or slurred recorded speeches of an obviously high Michael Jackson, I could scream.
This trial should not have gone on as long as it did, and should definitely not have been as sensationalized. Yes, Michael Jackson died, and yes it was tragic (to some), but let’s look at the facts. He was an accused child molester that hired a doctor of questionable morals to inject and subject him with as many drugs as possible. I am not saying that Murray was in the wrong, because he was. But, what is blatantly obvious was that Jackson was never a well man, and quite honestly may not have lived that much longer than he did if Murray was not involved.
So, now that this madness is over, let’s focus our attention on more important things that do actually make a difference in our lives. Apparently gays are getting beaten up and killing themselves because of who they are. This is important to me, and deserves the attention of the masses.
