Fallulah's 'Out of It'

Rating: 4.5/5 Danishes

What I think: I absolutely LOVE this artist! LOVE. I find this video to be walking the line of Where the Wild Things Are (that awesome book by Maurice Sendak) and falling down the rabbit hole à la Alice in Wonderland. It’s a little dark – both in content and literal absence of light – but it’s cool shit. Fallulah is a Danish beauty with killer style who is making some pretty fantastic music these days. She defines her music as a “hot tempered” mix of “indie rock with Balkan beats.” I define it as sexy, creative and fun! Her freshman release, The Black Cat Neighbourhood is a solid record from start to finish, and definitely worth checking out!

I’m having some trouble finding reviews of her work that are in English, so I think you should just take my word for it, and watch this video. I promise you won’t regret it. And if you do, well, I will give you a virtual head pat and send you on your way.

Have a great weekend!
