This week the Gaily is giving a shout out to Janelle Monáe. Check out this rockin’ R&B diva… GURRRL she is FINE! Janelle Monáe is an absolute natural born performer who happens to be gracing us with her presence here in Montreal on June 27th for a must-see performance at the Montreal International Jazz Festival. Better go gather up your lezzies and make a night out of it.

Give a listen to the video ‘Tightrope’ for some bona fide old school funk. This track is fun; it’s not some overdone boring song. This girl’s got back up vocals and the video is bold with concept. Oh, and can we please comment on that HOT SEXY lady suit, Fuck!
