Music Video Vendredi – Lianne La Havas – ‘Is Your Love Big Enough?’

First off, I think this 22-year-old Londoner knows how to belt out a note. Her sound shows a mix of old-fashioned melody with hints of soul and pop, smoky vocals and splash of youthful vulnerability. My only criticism is how she blends into the overdone topic in music, songs about love. Although most pop songs extensively cover love, Lianne La Havas does it unlike those overdone upcoming pop wannabes you see on reality t.v.. La Havas sings with raw emotion and isn’t scared to show her lack of perfection in her string picking. So take a listen and let us know what you think.

Rock on Lianne La Havas!
